# What would I pay beyond the appointment?
Ask for a written total that you can keep. The headline fee may answer only part of that question.
## Separate the visit from the medicine
Monthly membership fees were common in a small set of online weight-care offers, with medicine charged for separately.
Those advertised terms were recorded on 26 September 2026. They do not set the price for every peptide appointment.

## Why an introductory price can mislead
Here is an offer for semaglutide (Ozempic) injections paid for outside insurance. These price terms are dated 26 September 2026.
Strength describes the amount of working ingredient in that product.
For new patients paying outside insurance, the first two monthly supplies were $199 each. Only the 0.25 mg products or the 0.5 mg products qualified.
Each later monthly supply cost $349 or $499; the strength on the prescription set which price applied.
That introductory offer was limited to US residents aged 18 or older and ran through 31 December 2026.
These payments cannot be claimed back from insurance or counted towards a deductible, the amount paid before insurance starts sharing covered costs.
These figures describe the medicine offer. Ask separately about the visit, tests and any ongoing charges.
The same medicine can have different prices under cash offers, insurance and other payment routes.
Ask which payment route the written quote uses.
Could I have the normal charges, the offer’s end date and the cancellation terms in writing before I decide?
